We’re only weeks away from the 2018 PRSA Southeast District Conference in Raleigh. Hundreds of public relations professionals and communicators will convene at the Renaissance Raleigh North Hills April 18 – 20 for the premiere PR conference in the southeast.
Registration is still open. If you’ve been sitting on the fence about attending, here are five reasons to book your ticket now:
1) Networking: PRSA conferences present incredible opportunities to make connections all over the region and the country. Last year, nearly 200 people attended the PRSA Southeast District Conference in Alabama. We expect just as many (if not more) this year from North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Virginia as well as our speakers from as far away as Washington and California.
2) Professional Development: We all want to get better at our jobs. There’s no better place to find new ideas and fresh approaches to like as a professional communicator than the PRSA Southeast District Conference. We have more than 30 speakers on the schedule talking about a wide range of topics from big data and crisis communication to diversity and employee engagement.3) Leadership: PRSA succeeds because of the great leadership at the chapter, district and national level. The PRSA Southeast District Conference is a great forum to meet other chapter leaders and share ideas, or connect with District Board leaders and discover what it takes to be part of the organization.
4) Raleigh – If you’ve never been to the Triangle, you don’t know what you’re missing. The North Carolina capitol is one of the best places in the country to live. Once the conference ends for the day, take time to explore the City of Oaks. Take in a concert, a show or a ball game or explore the city’s great nightlife.
5) Do you need another reason? When you leave Raleigh, you’ll be smarter, more connected, and ready to take your PR game and your chapter to the next level. What you waiting for? Register today!
