Proudest professional accomplishment: Earning my Accreditation in Public Relations (APR). I majored in Broadcast Journalism and worked in television news for more than a decade before moving into public relations. Going through the APR process gave me the PR education I was missing. Earning the APR credential gave me the confidence (plus credibility) I was missing.

What is your passion? Story telling. Whether writing it or reading it, there is not much better than a good story.

Why you are a PRSA member? When we moved from Boston to Birmingham, I joined PRSA to make connections. Six years later I stay in PRSA because of all the people I have met and all the new people I will continue to meet. There is not a group of people I trust more and rely on more than my PRSA Alabama colleagues.
