Chapter: Georgia
Current position: PR and External Communications Leader for Synchrony Financial
How long in current position: Four years
First PR job: An intern and then an assistant account executive with full-service agency Crumbley & Associates. It was valuable for me to gain experience, spanning retail, real estate, consumer products, banking, and travel and tourism.
Where you attended college: Georgia State University
If you weren’t doing PR, you’d be.. working with women entrepreneurs and as a travel writer, photographer, and interior designer.
Proudest Professional Accomplishment: The relationships I have built and the opportunities to help people grow in their careers. One of my greatest experiences during the past few years is being part of Synchrony Financial’s journey to conduct an IPO, launch a new brand, and complete its separation from GE to become an independent, standalone company.
What is your passion? Helping people – friends, my kids, family, colleagues – define what success is for them and be a champion in helping them achieve their personal and professional objectives.
